Publish Programme Offering

Publish Programme Offering

Introduction

After creating a programme offering, it must be published before it becomes available for applications, scheduling, and registration. Publishing makes the offering official and visible to applicants, lecturers, and administrators (depending on permissions).

Steps to Publish a Programme Offering

  1. Navigate to Programme > Publish Programme Offering.

  2. Use the filters (e.g., programme name, semester/cycle, institution) to locate the programme offering you want to publish.

  3. Select the programme offering.

  4. Review all details carefully (grading scale, matriculation rules, schedule type, etc.).

  5. Click Publish.

Critical Points to Note

  1. Review Before Publishing

    • Once published, editing must be done through Modify Published Offering, not the creation page.

    • Ensure that all key settings (grading scale, matriculation rules, programme version) are correct before publishing.

  2. Visibility

    • A published programme offering becomes visible to applicants (if marked public) and available for scheduling.

  3. Application Deadline

    • Ensure a future application deadline is set. Without this, applicants cannot complete and submit applications.

  4. Customized Offerings

    • If the programme offering is for a specific institution or entity, confirm that it is set as a customized programme so it will not appear publicly.

Next Steps After Publishing

Once published, you can:

  • Add courses and specializations.

  • Allow applicants to begin applying.

  • Proceed with scheduling for the offering.

  • Modify details later using Programme > Modify Published Offering if necessary.
