Certification in iSIMS is marking students who have successfully completed their programme as certified. Student must meet the certification requirements before they can be marked as certified. The two requirements are:

1. The student GPA must be above the programme minimum GPA
2. The total number of credits earned by the student must be between or above the programme award type credit range
3. A manual check to verify that the student is eligible for certification

 

Please note that some programme does not have a minimum GPA and credit range for the award type. These students can be manually certified within iSIMS.

 

Certification

Certification is done in two steps, Recommendation for Certification and Approval of Certification. After the approval process, the students will be move to the Certified Status.

The recommendation is done by the one person and the approval must be done by another person. The institution will decide on the users who will have these functionalities.
